After a long hiatus, finally back to updating the web site. Check out the newly added blog with a growing list of articles on pregnancy and parenting, at MrMom.

February 4, 2002:
Added a new Product Review section. This had been in the pipeline for a long time. It's time finally came today.

Some php programs are still not functioning correctly. We're working on it.

February 3, 2002:
Finally sorted out the problem. Our email addresses are now working. Spent a lot of time, money and effort on more powerful servers and software. To be a little immodest, we have grown to 1.5 million hits per month and about 400,000 page views (again, per month) with over 70,000 visitors a month.. For an individual owned web site, our expenses have gotten a little out of control. But in the end, it's all been worth it. All our visitors are happy, and thus, we are happy. Our revenue has skyrocketed because of book sales (Maneka Gandhi's Book of Hindu Names). We're planning to introduce a range of products - including a wide array of books - and plan to make more than what we spend.

That has been our USP, you know - minimal expenses, substantial income. Keeps us floating.

January 10, 2002:
Our incoming emails went out of control. We were hit by something similar to a D.O.S (Denial of Service) attack. We started receiving over 25,000 spam emails per day! Our mail servers simply coudn't handle it. Had to take them down and replaced most of the email addresses on the site with @CyberConneXions.com addresses. Started work on anti-spam filters for the mail servers and new more powerful servers.
